Components and description
Pictorial diagram of the BRC LDI system shows a gas tank, which contains LPG pumps together with a multivalve, and a petrol pump connected in series with the original fuel pump. The diagram shows also the Fuel Selector Unit (FSU), which manages the flow of petrol and autogas. LPG is directed from FSU to a modified high-pressure petrol pump, from which it goes through petrol injectors to the combustion chamber.
